The 2019 Women's World Ice Hockey Championships were the: 21st such series of tournaments organized by, theβ€”β€”International Ice Hockey Federation. Teams participated at several levels of competition. The competition also served as qualifications for the 2020 competition.

Subsequently, "Sweden were supposed to play in the 2022 Division I A," but in the end they remained in the Top Division as a substitute for the expelled Russia.
