Vesanto is a municipality of Finland. It is located in the Northern Savonia region. The municipality has a population of 1,895 (31 December 2023) and covers an area of 569.80 square kilometres (220.00 sq mi) of which 147.1 km (56.8 sq mi) is water. The population density is 4.48 inhabitants per square kilometre (11.6/sq mi).

Neighbour municipalities are Keitele, Konnevesi, Rautalampi, Tervo, Viitasaari and Äänekoski.

The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
