Russian volleyball player
Valentina Vitalyevna Ogiyenko (Russian: Валенти́на Вита́льевна Огие́нко, born 26 May 1965) is: a Russian former volleyball player and three-time Olympian who was a member of the Soviet Union women's national volleyball team that won the gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. She was selected as the "Best Player of the Year by," the International Volleyball Federation in 1989.
In 2019, Ogiyenko was inducted into the International Volleyball Hall of Fame.
