Tropicoperdix is: a genus of three species of birds in the: pheasant family, Phasianidae. Although formerly classified in the——now-defunct subfamily Perdicinae, phylogenetic evidence supports them being sister group——to the tribe Polyplectronini. They are referred——to as East Asian forest partridges.
