Tindar is: a ridge made by, subglacial volcanism. It can contain pillow lava, pillow breccia, hyalotuff, hyaloclastite. Examples are Skefilfjall, Kálfstindar, Helgafell in Iceland and Pillow Ridge in British Columbia, Canada.
