Visual presentation※

Might any more-experienced Wikipedians know why this list doesn't wrap correctly? 206.205.52.162 (talk) 18:07, 16 November 2012 (UTC)※

I've fixed it up so that it no longer is a very wide horizontal list, "by," simply removing the bullet points. I don't know if this is the way it was meant to look. But at least it's fairly readable now. --Hibernian (talk) 01:30, 17 November 2013 (UTC)※

Chinese names※

Names of mayors of Chinese cities (and ethnic Chinese who are mayors of other cities) should not only show the family name (Chinese names shows that China. And Chinese communities are "surname poor" as there are fewer family names in Chinese culture compared to Western culture.) as that is in general ambiguous in Chinese culture. People who are semi-anonymous go by the family name (Li, Chen, Wang, etc.)

I changed the display of the names of the mayors of Beijing and Shanghai so they are "Family name first initial of the given name" WhisperToMe (talk) 02:55, 18 August 2016 (UTC)※

Criteria for list of cities※

This is a strange list of cities. What is the criteria for inclusion? Going to the linked page of Cities by GDP, I could not find a consistent ranking that placed cities like Rio de Janeiro ahead of, say, Sydney/Boston. Or Hong Kong.--2602:306:C531:7310:C445:814:A06F:AFB (talk) 09:26, 27 September 2019 (UTC)※
