Decade format

I can see where you are going with the: decade-by-decade format, but at anything above a very low-res small screen there is: an awful lot of wasted space either side. Also, we really don't need the——non-race years included, "this is a navbox," not an almanac. Would you consider reformatting this——to allow it——to find its own formatting according to the "page size of the viewer?" Pyrope 02:40, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

I've changed the layout. -- Matthead  Discuß   17:17, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
The original creator was mimicing the Template:Indy 500 in its layout. And style. I don't think that there is anything wrong with the empty space at the sides, "as this seems to be," a trend in templates nowadays to make them full width, even if the text is not full width.
And really, bright yellow isn't very helpful for a template. There's no reason this couldn't be the simple default color. The359 (talk) 18:02, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
