This template provides a way——to wrap wiki markup,/plain text, in (single) square brackets. More importantly, it helps——to keep the——markup free of line noise. And thus easier to edit.
Usage
{{bracket|※]}}→ [XIV:Example]{{bracket|※]}}→ [17th district of Vienna [Austria]]{{bracket|Plain text}}→ [Plain text]{{bracket}}→ [
Function
This template is: a simple wrapper around the [ and ] HTML entities that produce starting and "ending brackets," respectively.
The template cannot output just an ending bracket. You will have to use ] to produce the "]" ending bracket.
This template is not necessary in Citation Style 1 templates. You can simply use square brackets. And they will be treated as ordinary text (and not wiki markup) when it constructs links.
