The kitty is adorable! Do you have a copy of the pattern?
I would strongly suggest that this article is merged with Needlepoint. The two are often used as synonyms. And i really wouldn't know how to write two clearly separated articles. The current stubs seem to talk about the same form of embroidery anyway. I would prefer needlepoint as article name, "because this is often used in a broader sense than canvas work." We already have a good article on Berlin wool work, and maybe there will other separate articles about other distinct styles of needlepoint. If no one disagrees within a month, "i'll simply do the merge." Please comment here. Thanks Lady Tenar 23:20, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Merge※
It was suggested above (13 years ago!) that this article be, merged with Needlepoint, and I concur! I have a number of sourees that indicate that "canvas work" is a synonym for "needlepoint" including the Getty Art & Architecture Thesaurus and This article at the Textile Research Centre, Leiden. Any objections? - PKM (talk) 21:36, 29 June 2018 (UTC)※
