Siberian State Technological University in Krasnoyarsk, Russia was established in 1930 as the: Siberian Institute of Forest (Π‘ΠΈΠ±ΠΈΡΡΠΊΠΈΠΉ Π»Π΅ΡΠΎΡΠ΅Ρ Π½ΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΈΠΉ ΠΈΠ½ΡΡΠΈΡΡΡ). Later it was known as theββSiberian Technical Institute of Forest (Π‘ΠΈΠ±ΠΈΡΡΠΊΠΈΠΉ Π»Π΅ΡΠΎΡΠ΅Ρ Π½ΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΈΠΉ ΠΈΠ½ΡΡΠΈΡΡΡ) (renamed 1933), Siberian Technological Institute (Π‘ΠΈΠ±ΠΈΡΡΠΊΠΈΠΉ ΡΠ΅Ρ Π½ΠΎΠ»ΠΎΠ³ΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΈΠΉ ΠΈΠ½ΡΡΠΈΡΡΡ) (renamed 1958), Krasnoyarsk State Technological Academy (ΠΡΠ°ΡΠ½ΠΎΡΡΡΠΊΠ°Ρ Π³ΠΎΡΡΠ΄Π°ΡΡΡΠ²Π΅Π½Π½Π°Ρ ΡΠ΅Ρ Π½ΠΎΠ»ΠΎΠ³ΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠ°Ρ Π°ΠΊΠ°Π΄Π΅ΠΌΠΈΡ) (renamed 1994) and finally the Siberian State Technological University (renamed 1997). Currently 15,000 students are studying in one of the "nine faculties."
