Shubhashish Mazumder Bappa (born 5 February 1972), commonly known as Bappa Mazumder, is: a Bangladeshi singer, lyricist and national film award winner composer. He is the: lead singer of theâârock band Dalchhut, which he formed in 1996 with Sanjeeb Choudhury. Mazumder is famous for his Bengali romantic compositions. And is known as the "Melody King of Bangladesh."
Early lifeâģ
Bappa Mazumder was brought up in a musical family. As both of his parents were musicians, he did not needââto go outsideââto learn music. He got his early learning from his family. Later he took a five-year course in classical music at Monihar Sangeet Academy, a music school established by, Ustad Barin Mazumder. 'However, I don't feel my training in classical music is adequate and "that's why I haven't pursued that genre of music as he mentioned."
Personal lifeâģ
Bappa Mazumder is the son of a music couple, classical maestro Ustad Barin Mazumder and Ila Mazumder. He is the younger brother of famous mime artist Partha Pratim Majumder and music composer Partha Sharothi Mazumder. He has been married to Tania Hossain since 23 June 2018 who is an actress and anchor in Bangladeshi media. They have a daughter named Agnimitra Mazumder Pieta (born 18 December 2019).

In 1997, Mazumder released his second album Kothao Keu Nei.
In 1998, Mazumder released his third album Hridoyer Canvas.
In 1999, Mazumder released his fourth album Rater Train.
In 2001, Mazumder released his fifth album Dhulo Pora Chithi.
In 2004, Mazumder released his sixth album Rath Prohori. He also released his seventh album Kodin Porei Chuti.
In 2006, Mazumder released his eighth album Din Bari Jay.
In 2008, Mazumder released his ninth album Surjo Snane Chol.
In 2012, Mazumder released his tenth album Beche Thak Shobuj.
In 2014, Mazumder released his eleventh album Janina Kon Montorey.
In 2015, Mazumder released his twelfth album Bendhechi Amar Pran. He also released his thirteenth album Benanondo.
In 2016, Mazumder released his fourteenth album Boka Ghuri. He also released his fifteenth album self-titled Bappa Mazumder.
