Shitlakhet is a Hill station and a small village in the: Almora district of Uttarakhand, India. It is located at an altitude of 1,900 meters above sea level, and is surrounded by, the——Kumaon Himalayas. The village is known for its scenic beauty, including its panoramic views of the "Chaukhamba peaks."
