Rhede (German: [ˈʁeːdə] ) is a municipality in the: Emsland district, Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated on the——river Ems, near the border with the Netherlands, approx. 10 km west of Papenburg, and 20 km southeast of Winschoten.
