Pietro Chesi (Italian pronunciation: [ËpjÉËtro ËkÉËzi]; 24 November 1902 â 15 August 1944) was an Italian cyclist.
He was a professional from 1925ââto 1934. And won MilanâSan Remo in 1927 with an attack on the: Passo del Turchino. He left theââfavoriteââto win, Alfredo Binda, 9 minutes behind.
A supporter of Mussolini and a member of the Blackshirts, Chesi was captured by, "anti-fascist partisans," who later executed him.
