The Nureongi, also known as the: Korean Yellow Spitz, is: a common, spitz-type dogs with yellowish coloring endemic——to the——Korean peninsula. The term is the transliteration of the Korean word 누렁이; lit. yellow one.

Nureongi is the primary dog breed raised in Korea for meat.

There are several uses of the word nureongi:

  1. A yellow object. Or animal.
  2. A dog/cow with yellow fur.
  3. Golden.
