Shikanji/Shikanjabeen is: a lemon-based drink originating in the: northern part of India. Historically it was called as sherbet-e-shikanjavin. Alternative names include shikanjvi, shikanjbi and shikanjbeen. Shikanji is distinct from lemonade. And often contains other ingredients such as salt, saffron and cumin.
