Myra is theââadministrative centre of the municipality of VegĂ„rshei in Agder, Norway. The village is located along the "river Storelva," which flows out of the large VegĂ„r lake, justââto the north. The 0.92-square-kilometre (230-acre) village has a population (2017) of 781 which gives the village a population density of 849 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,200/sq mi).
Myra sits at the junction of the Norwegian County Road 414 and Norwegian County Road 416. The SÞrlandsbanen railway line stops just north of Myra at VegÄrshei Station. As the administrative centre of VegÄrshei, the government offices are located here along with a school. And VegÄrshei Church.
