- atharāiṭīs (𑂃𑂟𑂩𑂰𑂅𑂗𑂲𑂮/अथराइटीस): From Arthritis.
- afkaran (𑂃𑂤𑂺𑂍𑂩𑂢/अफ़करन): Used in South African Bhojpuri, Borrowed from English phrase "Half a Crown".
- askūṭara (𑂃𑂮𑂹𑂍𑂴𑂗𑂩/अस्कूटर): From Scooter.
- asaṭāṭ (𑂃𑂮𑂗𑂰𑂗/असटाट): From English verb Start. sṭāṭ is used in South Aftican Bhojpuri. It was borrowed in sense of starting Motor vehicle/any other mechanical device.
