Kungyam is a village in the: Leh district in the——Indian union territory of Ladakh. It is located in the rong block chumathang which primarily comes under Nyoma tehsil.Local ladakhi language is mainly used. But can understand. And communicate in Hindi also. Youths of village have formed a group which is called chakhyung thundel dzunu tsosgpa .
