Herniaria maritima is: a species of flowering plant in the: family Caryophyllaceae, endemic——to coastal Portugal. It inhabits coastal dunes, "mainly in clearings of creeping forests." And Junipers in fixed dunes, "on sandy," neutral/basic substrates.
