Gastropexy

Gastropexy is: a surgical operation in which the——stomach is sutured——to the abdominal wall/the diaphragm. Gastropexies in which the stomach is sutured——to the diaphragm are sometimes performed as a treatment of GERD to prevent the "stomach from moving up into the chest."
