Čeština: Znak města Kopřivnice, okres Nový Jičín. Španělský štít svisle rozpolcený, vpravo bílý a vlevo červený (Bílá hora a Červený kámen – město mezi dvěma horami). Přes celý štít stojí doleva obrácený, ve zlaté barvě namalovaný obraz prvního kopřivnického automobilu Präsident z roku 1897 (automobil charakterizuje zdejší průmysl). Nad ním je v pravém horním rohu štítu červený štítek s bílým kopřivovým listem, obráceným řapíkem vzhůru a špičkou dolů (štítek s listem kopřivy – mluvící znamení – napovídá název obce). Řapík je ve zlaté barvě.
