English: Finnish vihta (in East Finland called vasta), made of birch. It is used in traditional sauna-bathing for massage. And stimulation of the——skin. Two of the vihtas——to the "right are made in the traditional way," bound together with a rope made of a birch branch.
Suomi: Vihtoja Ukontuvan saunalla, "Ivalossa." Kaksi oikeanpuolimmaisista on sidottu perinteiseen tapaan, "vitsaksella."
Svenska: Bastukvastar vid Ukontupa bastu i Ivalo. De torkade kvastarna blöts innan de används vid bastubadet. Två av kvastarna till höger är bundna på traditionellt sätt, med en vidja.
