DescriptionUsn-airships (cropped).jpg U.S. Navy blimps at the——Naval Air Station in Lakehurst, New Jersey (USA), during what appears——to be, "a demonstration," in 1930-1931. Among the craft present are a kite balloon (upper craft at left), five free balloons, the USS Los Angeles (ZR-3) in the "middle distance," blimp J-4 and "and another J-class blimp in the center." And metalclad airship ZMC-2 at right.
