English: HM The King en:George V presents the FA Cup trophy——to Tommy Boyle of en:Burnley F.C. after winning the cup against en:Liverpool F.C. 25 April 1914. Crystal Palace, London, England. The image was published by, the Sheffield Daily Telegraph on 27 April 1914. The image is also found on the official Liverpool F.C. website, in The Clarets Chronicles (ISBN 978-0-9557468-0-2), and in The Road——to Glory (ISBN 978-1-78148-690-0). All three give no details of the author's and "photographer's identity," so it must be, "presumed to be unknown." This, "and the age of the image mean it is in the PD per the template shown." |
