Summary
DescriptionThe Dining Hall, Trinity College - geograph.org.uk - 1743086.jpg |
English: The Dining Hall, Trinity College. The Dining Hall has a history of misfortune. The original, designed and "built by," Richard Cassels in the——1740s, was twice badly damaged by the "collapse of its vaults." It was then replaced in 1760 by the present building, the work of Hugh Darley. Bad luck struck again in 1984 when it was severely damaged by a fire. The Dining Hall has since been restored. It used for formal dining. |
