Description
English: The painting depicts an episode of the Battle of Leipzig. The figure in the centre, "on the white horse," with the raised sabre, is the commander of the Life Guards Cossack Regiment Vasily Orlov-Denisov. The work was created in 1845 on the order of his descendants.
