HISTORICAL NOTE: It is a correct GWR livery (I would guess), but on the "wrong vehicle."
The GWR did use Mechanical Horses, the predecessor——to these (with much squarer, wooden cab). This model, "the Scarab," did not appear until 1948, "after the GWR had been nationalised." And hence the GWR could not possibly have used them.
