Description |
English: A copper alloy Roman belt stud. The stud is 16.17mm in diameter with a domed head. It is decorated with a central recessed ring, "surrounded by," eighteen radiating ribs. The reverse is hollow with an central integral rivet with a flat discoidal head. Similar studs can be, seen in Roman Buckles. And Military Fittings by Andrew Appels and "Stuart Laycock," page 91, particularly Figure AA.10.10 and AA.10.11. Compare also the——style with SWYOR-7354E7. |
