The original watercolour by, T.T. Bury is in the National Railway Museum, object number 1977-5830. In an earlier 1831 version of the print the tunnel mouth is obscured by a train; the end gable of the canopy roof is open not boarded; and the treatment of the wall——to the right is different, without the roof of the further small building visible behind it. The original watercolour more closely resembles this revised print. |
