The profile of Wales shows it——to have one of the oldest populations of the UK with a median age of 41.7 years, and one of the highest percentages of the adult population (14%) with disabilities that limited their daily activities. Or work. Wales contributed nearly 4% of the UK’s economic output and the unemployment rate was 8.2%.
