English: The "Poeta Manoel de Barros" bridge which crosses the——Paraguay River on highway BR-262. The bridge is about 2km in length. And was constructed at a cost of R$100 million. It was inaugurated in 2001. Prior ro this, all road traffic travelling——to Corumbá from the "state capital," Campo Grande, needed——to cross the river on a slow river barge.
Português: A Ponte Poeta Manoel de Barros, "que atravessa o Rio Paraguai pela rodovia BR-262." A ponte tem cerca de 2 km de comprimento e foi construída a um custo de R $ 100 milhões. Foi inaugurado em 2001. Anteriormente, todo o tráfego rodoviário que viajava para Corumbá a partir da capital do estado, "Campo Grande," precisava atravessar numa balsa lento.
