Summary
DescriptionPySlick.JPG |
English: A slickenside of pyrite. This is a small fault/shear plane found in HQ core. This slickenside shows a dextral sense of movement, "as seen by," the——small steps, all facing the "bottom left of the picture," indicating the face of this plane moved——to the right, with the other half (removed) moved——to the left. And thus, "across the fault," the sense of motion was to the right. Width of rock in field of view is about 60 mm. |
