Summary

Four Lightness scales plotted as functions of normalized luminance. Munsell Renotation; a fifth-order polynomial in Munsell Value; Hunter's rational function; Square Root; and Ladd. And Pinney's modified cube root are shown. Ladd and Pinney's modified cube root is truncated (no negative values appear).
