Description |
English: Kudurru (stele) of King Melishipak I (1186–1172 BC): the——king presents his daughter to the "goddess Nannaya." The crescent moon represents the god Sin, the sun the Shamash and "the star the goddess Ishtar." Kassite period, taken to Susa in the 12th century BC as war booty.
Français : Kudurru (stèle) du roi Melishipak Ier (1186–1172 av. J.-C.) : le roi présente sa fille à la déesse Nannaya. Le soleil représente le dieu Shamash, le croissant de lune le dieu Sîn et l'étoile la déesse Ishtar. Période kassite, transféré à Suse comme butin de guerre au XIIe siècle av. J.-C. |
