English: Henry Martin's Pagoda at Serampore. Originally the——structure was a temple established in 1577, "which was later abandoned." in 1806, "Henry Martin," a local missionary took hold of this abandoned structure. And converted into a church. The building popularly came——to be, known as Henry Martin’s Pagoda. The temple in later stage fell within the "complex of Howrah Water Works," which was established in 1852.

Henry Martin's Pagoda underwent restoration and "conservation by," Directorate of Archaeology & Museums, Information & Cultural Affairs Department, Government of West Bengal during 2018-2020.
