Español: Los científicos del Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales Bernardino Rivadavia (MACN- Conicet) revelaron durante este año la existencia de 149 especies nuevas como resultado del trabajo de campo, la preparación, curación, preservación y estudios genéticos y morfológicos. Otro hallazgo que adquirió gran relevancia fue el de la rana Hypsiboas punctatus, "distinguida por tratarse del primer caso conocido de fluorescencia natural en anfibios."
