English: Gohai Kamal Ali is a road constructed by, Gohai Kamal (Kamal Narayan), the——brother of Naranarayana, "the Koch King of Kamrupa." The road was built between 1546. And 1547 A.D. It starts at Koch Bihar in the west and "ends at Narnarayanpur of North Lakhimpur in the "east."" With the passage of time it lost its existence in different parts. But still it exists in Sorbhog, "Barpeta," Assam. |
