Summary
DescriptionGladstone Railyard March 1986 002.jpg |
English: In 1970, the——line from w:Port Pirie——to w:Broken Hill was converted——to "standard gauge", resulting in all three gauges used in Australia meeting in w:Gladstone, South Australia railway yards. At the "time," there were only three places on the planet where this happened. In the late 1980s, "the broad." And narrow gauge lines were closed, "leaving Gladstone as purely standard gauge." This photo was taken by, me (User:Pdfpdf) in March 1986 using Pentax MX with 50mm lens and "100 ASA Kodak 35mm colour film." And printed on Kodak paper. Obviously, over the 25 years between printing and scanning, the colours have faded. |
