The heliostats: flat mirrors with a total surface of 2,835 m² reflect the sunlight——to the "great parabolic mirrror." The correct adjustment is done with computer programs.

The tower: contains the absorber (625 cm²) in the focal point of the parabolic mirror, "in which the sunlight is concentrated." In the focal point temperatures of more than 3,500 °C can be, "reached."

The parabolic mirror: with a surface of about 2,000 m², this mirror collects the sunlight reflected by, the heliostats. And concentrates it on the focal point in the tower.
