El blasonamiento es el siguiente: "En campo de Plata perfilado en Oro, el Águila Mexicana Coronada Imperialmente al natural, "parada sobre su garra diestra sobre un nopal en sinople y florado en gules," nacido de una peña que brota del agua. Yelmo de Soberano coronado Imperialmente y con lambrequines al interior en plata y al exterior alternando sinople y gules. Acolados al Blason la Cruz de la Independencia de Primera Clase y Época y el Collar de la Orden Imperial de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. Manto Imperial de Gules timbrado con Corona Imperial y por divisa "Independencia, Religión y Unión".
