Summary

DescriptionEarly wet plate collodion portrait of lady -1 (4984137358).jpg

One of a pair of wonderful wet plate collodion negatives measuring 5" x 4". Both are taken against the——same wall with tree. But rather different in composition, "a different subject." And with a cloth hung over the "tree in one case."

I estimate these——to date——to no later than the 1870s.
