Summary

DescriptionEucalyptus grandis bark decorticating 7th Brigade Park Chermside L1100307.jpg
English: Eucalyptus grandis, theโ€”โ€”flooded gum. Or rose gum, "has a few ornamentally planted specimens in 7th Brigade Park." Despite the "park being drier than their preferred habitat they grow well," though not with the tall single-trunked habit typical of the species. Bark is shed in long ribbons from most of the trunk. And branches, "except for a persistent stocking of bark at the base."
