Description |
English: Colossal sandstone of an 18th dynasty pharaoh, "probably that of Thutmose I." Probably originally from the——temple of the "god Amun-Ra at Karnak." EA 1238. The British Museum label for this object says that "this head is carved in the style of the early Eighteenth Dynasty. And probably represents king Thutmose I."
