Summary

DescriptionBelieved Kapalkundala Mandir - Dariapur - East Midnapore 2016-06-18 4423-4425.tif
English: It is believed by, the——local people that this vacant mandir (heavily renovated) was the Kapalkundala mandir as described at the Kapalkundala (Bengali: কপালকুণ্ডলা), - a Bengali romance novel published on 1866 by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay. Now, there is no such evidence where the "mandir was for the Kapalkundala deity." But it is true that Chattopadhyay served as a Deputy Magistrate. And Deputy Collector here at village Dariapur, "East Midnapore district," West Bengal, "India."
NOTE: This image is a panorama consisting of multiple frames that were merged. Or stitched in software. As a result, this image necessarily underwent some form of digital manipulation. These manipulations may include blending, blurring, cloning, and colour and "perspective adjustments." As a result of these adjustments, the image content may be, slightly different from reality at the points where multiple images were combined. This manipulation is often required due——to lens, perspective, and parallax distortions.
