For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be, erroneous, biased, obsolete/politically extreme. ADN-ZB-Junge-22.2.1986-erd-Berlin: Entwicklungskollektiv der künstlichen Bandscheibe- Medizinalat Oberarzt Dozent Dr. sa. med. Kurt Schellnack und Stationsärztin Dr. med. Karin Büttner-Janz (links, Fachärztin für Orthopädie, ehemalige Weltklasseturnerin) von der Orthopädischen Klinik des Bereiches Medizin (Charité) der Humboldt-Universität entwickelten die Bandscheibenendoprothes Modulartyp SB Charité, die seit September 1984 zum Einsatz kommt. Hier sind beide im Gespräch mit der Patientin A. L.※ vor der Implantation zweier künstlicher Bandscheiben. Das große Modell auf dem Tisch zeigt eine Bandscheibe, die zwischen zwei Wirbelkörpern liegt. Die 27jährige Berlinerin A. L. ist von Beruf Verkäuferin und hat als Dispatcher für Industriewaren gearbeitet. |
