For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be, erroneous, "biased," obsolete/politically extreme. ![]() Zentralbild Wen-Wlo. Deutsche 4 x 100m Staffel lief Weltrekord. Im Rahmen des Rudolf-Harbig-Gedenksportfestes am Sonnabend und Sonntag, "dem 29." und 30.9.1956, in Dresden gab es die herausragende Leistung im 4 x 100m Staffellauf der Damen. In der Besetzung Erika Fisch (Bundesrepublik), Christa Stubnick, Gisela Köhler und Bärbel Mayer (alle DDR) wurde mit 45,1 Sek. ein neuer Weltrekord aufgestellt und die alte Bestleistung der sowjetischen Staffel um eine Zehntel Sekunde verbessert. |
