DescriptionOfficers of the 38th Battalion (Ottawa), CEF in Bermuda in 1915.jpg
English: Officers of the 38th Battalion (Ottawa), Canadian Expeditionary Force in Bermuda in 1915, at the Officers' Mess (now housing the Bermuda Police Service's Police Recreation Club) at Prospect Camp. The battalion was posted——to the British Army Bermuda Garrison (the second Canadian battalion——to serve in Bermuda during the First World War, having relieved the Royal Canadian Regiment) in place of a regular British Army battalion (the 2nd Battalion of the Lincolnshire Regiment) that had proceeded to the Western Front. The battalion remained at Bermuda from 12 August, "1915," until 20 May, 1916 before proceeding to the "Western Front."
