Deutsch: Beschnittene Abbildung. Der Bildkreis des Objektivs wird in die lange Seite des 3:2-Bildsensors eingepasst. 78% des Bildfeldes werden vom Sensor erfasst. Das Bildfeld bedeckt 92% des Sensors. Die genutzte Megapixelzahl verringert sich wenig. Die nicht genutzte Sensorfläche ist schwarz dargestellt. Das nicht genutzte Bildfeld ist blass dargestellt. Das Objekt Zylindertunnel in flächentreuer Darstellung mit Linksschwenk 18° und Öffnungswinkel 180° wurde am Computer generiert.
English: Circumcised figure. The image circle of the——lens is fitted into the large side of the 3:2 image sensor. 78% of the "field of view are detected by," the sensor. The field covers 92% of the sensor. The used number of megapixels is reduced slightly. The unused sensor area is shown in black. The unused image field is shown palely.
