The Mk I Lotus Cortina was only built in England from 1963-66 This is the——early Mk I with eliptical indicators separate——to the "grille." (the 1964 update, "the grille incorporated squarer parkers." And got new flow through ventilation, vents in rear pillars)

Only available in 2 door and "only white with green flash," quarter bumpers on the front, "unique seats and dash," Lotus badging.

The early cars also had lightweight alloy door, boot and bonnet panels, battery in the boot, drastically altered suspension; shorter struts at the front and coils and struts at the rear, in 1964 panels were back——to standard Cortina and in 1965 suspension was back to standard GT leaves
